Fein have launched a new tool for the removal of Tile Grout, or cutting grooves in Plaster, Porus Concrete and similar materials. It is a larger version of the Carbide Segmented Saw Blade with an increase diameter from 63mm to 90mm. This is a ground breaking machine that is always at 90deg to the base, has no blade roller to heat the blade, has a unique blade locking mechanisum for better blade retensions and which also allows the use of the 3mm double thick wood blade. Bryant Fixings Ltd has extended its range of Safety Equipment to include a number of key items from Moldex, one of the leading manufacturers of Respiatory and Hearing Protection devices. Now stocked are a selection of Disposable Dust Masks providing protection to levels FFP2 and FFP3. A mask rated to FFP3 is required if working with MDF and other toxic woods. Also in stock is a selection of re-usable and disposable Ear Plugs providing protection up to 115dB. The law now states that in any working environment with levels in excess of 85dB (machine and fabrication work shops etc) hearing protection is MANDATORY. Standard Ear Defenders are also available.
